1-1 Course Advising
(Formerly known as Summer Academic Orientation/SAO)
Have questions regarding your program/course selection?
We can help!
Our one-on-one support connects you virtually with a peer advisor so you can feel more comfortable and confident in your course selection.
1-1 advising is open to incoming main campus undergraduate students.
We can help with questions like...
- How do I choose which courses to take?
- Have I chosen my courses correctly?
- How can I prepare for my academic year?
- What services/supports are available to help me thrive?
Dates TBD for 2025.
**Please note we do not offer advising for any incoming University or College Transfer Students, we also do not offer advising for Music, Nursing or Engineering Students. You must connect with your home faculty/program advising office for program and course selection support.
**Students must be present for the appointment. We cannot speak with parents/family members to select courses.
